The Department of Pharmacology is concerned with teaching second MBBS students about the various medicinally useful compounds and their actions on the human body. Various compounds are today available for treatment of a variety of diseased conditions. Pharmacology is concerned in the details of what the drug does to the body, and also what the body does to the drug. Students gain knowledge of the do’s and don’ts before administering any drug to the patient.
