The Department of Orthopaedics specialises in surgical treatment of various orthopaedic problems. There are multiple independent units within the department at present.

The department is well staffed .We perform multiple surgical procedures per year and about daycare procedures. Many consultants have had specialised surgical training abroad, in different fields of orthopaedics.

There are outpatient clinics from Monday to Saturday. Patients who need emergency care are attended to 24 x 7 in the Emergency services.Dedicated patient care, clinical teaching and research are the core areas of priority.
